Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

The HY Yoga is owned and operated by Prachi Malik (sole proprietor), Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India ("The HY Yoga", "we", "us"). These terms apply when you use thehyyoga.com or book, buy or attend any class with us. By booking a class or making a payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Service Delivery Policy and our Privacy Policy.

1. Our services

  • Live online group batches, taught over Google Meet at fixed batch timings.
  • Private 1:1 online sessions, at times booked from our available slots.
  • At-home 1:1 sessions, only at addresses in the areas listed on our Home visits page.
  • A free first trial class for new students. We may limit it to one per person, household or phone number.

Each class is about 55 minutes. Plans, prices, class counts and timings are shown on the website at the time you buy. We may change them for future purchases; a change never affects a plan you have already paid for.

2. Who can join

You must be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 may join only through a parent or guardian, who makes the booking, accepts these terms on their behalf and supervises the practice.

3. Health and your responsibility

  • Yoga is physical activity. Check with your doctor before starting, especially if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, recent surgery, injuries or any other medical condition.
  • Tell your instructor about any condition or injury before class, and whenever it changes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the health details you share.
  • Practise within your limits. Stop and tell your instructor if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
  • Our classes are for general fitness and wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, diagnosis or therapy, and do not replace advice from a doctor or physiotherapist. We do not promise any particular health result.
  • For online classes, you are responsible for a safe, clear space, a suitable mat and a working device and internet connection.

4. Payment

  • All plans are paid in full, in advance, as a one-time payment for the plan you choose (1, 3 or 6 months for group batches; one month for private and at-home plans). Plans do not renew automatically, and we never charge you again without your action.
  • Students in India pay in INR through Razorpay. International students pay in USD through PayPal. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Your plan is confirmed only once the payment is successful. Taxes, if applicable, are shown before you pay.
  • Prices are set by region. Please choose the region and currency where you actually live; we may correct a wrong region before your plan starts.

5. Plan period and classes

  • A plan period starts on the date we confirm when you pay (usually your first class) and runs for the months you bought.
  • Group batches: your plan includes the batch classes held during your plan period. Classes you miss are not carried forward, refunded or made up.
  • Private and at-home plans: sessions must be used within the plan period. Unused sessions expire at the end of the period and are not carried forward or refunded.
  • Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Batch timings are in India Standard Time (IST). The website shows them in your local time; please check your time zone, especially around daylight-saving changes.
  • We may change a batch time, merge batches or change the instructor when needed. We will tell you in advance, and if the new time doesn't suit you, we will move you to another batch or private slot.

6. Offers and coupon codes

  • Only one coupon code can be used per payment. Codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to a payment already made.
  • Our current offers are the Early bird offer, the Festive (Navratri) offer and the First 100 offer. Each one has its own terms on our Offer Terms page, which form part of these terms.
  • The First 100 and festive offers can each be used once per person. We may refuse or cancel an offer used through multiple accounts, false details or any other misuse, and charge the regular price instead.
  • We may change or end any offer at any time; this does not affect payments already made.
  • Referral rewards follow the terms on our Refer a friend page.

7. Online classes

  • Class links are for you alone. Please don't share them or let anyone else join on your plan.
  • Please join on time. Late joiners may miss the warm-up, and the class will not be extended.
  • Keep your camera on where possible so your instructor can guide your alignment safely.
  • We are not responsible for classes missed because of your internet, device or power problems. If a class is badly disrupted from our side, we will offer a make-up class.

8. At-home sessions

  • Please arrange gate or society entry and provide a clean, safe space with enough room for practice.
  • An adult must be present when the student is under 18.
  • Our instructor may decline or end a session if she feels unsafe or is treated disrespectfully. That session counts as used.

9. Conduct

We want every class to feel safe and welcoming. Harassment, abusive language or inappropriate behaviour towards the instructor or other students, online or in person, will lead to immediate removal from classes without any refund.

10. Recordings and content

  • You may not record, screenshot, stream or share any class, video or material without our written permission.
  • All class content, sequences, the HY Yoga name and logo, and website content belong to The HY Yoga.
  • If we record a class, we will tell participants in advance.

11. Limitation of liability

You take part in classes voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, The HY Yoga and its instructors are not liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your practice, except where it is caused directly by our proven negligence. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan the claim relates to.

12. Things outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as illness, natural disasters, government orders, internet or platform outages (including Google Meet), or power failures. In such cases we will offer make-up classes as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

13. Suspension

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse an offer, or raise a payment dispute (chargeback) for classes you received. If we end your plan for any other reason, we will refund the classes or sessions not yet delivered.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version will always be on this page with the date at the top. The version in force when you paid applies to that payment.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; we will try to resolve any concern within 7 working days. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
